Add publication evidence

How to attach a public reference to a file that is already recorded.

Before you start

The file must already be recorded first. Publication evidence is an optional next step that depends on an existing recorded hash.

What you enter

You provide the recorded hash, choose a reference type, and enter a public reference such as a URL, DOI, or other public identifier.

What it means

This records that a public reference was attached to a file that is already recorded. It does not prove authorship, ownership, or that the reference is the only or official source.
